Asthma & Allergies
Asthma affects 300 million people worldwide (1). Here in the United States, 15 million people have asthma and about 5 million of these are children(2). Asthma is a leading cause of school absenteeism nationwide.
The American Lung Association of Wisconsin has been committed to improving the lives of Wisconsinites with asthma for decades. As a leader in the asthma community, we provide take a comprehensive approach to improving asthma care by working with families, communities, and a diversity of health care professionals statewide.
