Asthma Educator Institute is designed for respiratory therapists, nurses and pharmacists with some background in asthma. The course has been revised in accordance with the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program Expert Panel Report: Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Asthma, EPR 3 updated in August 2007.

The workshop provides participants with the knowledge and tools necessary for the successful assessment and management of patient asthma. It also provides them with the tools and resources to help prepare for the national asthma educator certification exam.
