The People That Make it Work
MEDICAL STAFF APP 2010

"Kids come back each year with the quality of their lives improved—no emergency room visits, fewer missed school days—all because of the instruction they receive here. You can really see the difference Camp makes."

Bonnie, RN, Camp WIKIDAS Medical Volunteer

The warmth and enthusiasm and professional expertise of 38 health care professionals and specially trained counselors make Camp WIKIDAS a reality. Camp WIKIDAS staff provide medical treatment and teach educational sessions on asthma. Their primary role, however, is to give campers the support and encouragement needed to lead normal, healthy lives.

Camp WIKIDAS medical staff consists of at least two or three physician allergists, registered nurses, physician's assistants, licensed practical nurses, respiratory therapists and pharmacists. Medical coverage is provided 24 hours a day. These dedicated health care professionals also supervise the daily administration of medication.
