2008 Milwaukee Lung Walk
The American Lung Association of Wisconsin is gearing up for the 2008 Milwaukee Lung Walk, so please get your shoes ready and join us!
 Last year's Asthma Walk was a huge success, with over 1,000 walkers raising thousands of dollars to support the estimated 22 million Americans who suffer from asthma, and this year will be even bigger and better!
We are eager to announce the exciting highlights of the American Lung Association's 2008 Lung Walk! The date for this year's Walk is Sunday, October 5, and it will once again be held at the Milwaukee County Zoo with free admission for all participants.
We are proud to announce that Debra Standridge, President of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - St. Francis, will serve as our Corporate Team Chair, and we will welcome back the Futoransky Family as our Family Team Chairs.
This year's Lung Walk will feature music, live entertainment, food, a massage area, a children's area and much, much more.
Registration is free, but we ask that you fundraise and, by doing so, every participant who raises $100 or more will receive the 2008 Lung Walk t-shirt. And, there are many more incentive prizes for walkers who raise over $150.

There is no better time than now to start your team for 2008. As an incentive, all team captains who register their team online before August 13 will be entered to win an Argus digital camera! The winning team captain will be drawn at our 2008 Lung Walk kick-off event on Wednesday, August 13 at the Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Conference Center.

The 2008 Lung Walk planning team is looking for your help! Volunteer your time as a member of the planning team and have a hand in organizing one of Milwaukee's most exciting events. E-mail sbeauchamp@lungwisconsin.org to join the committee.
